question about tsumego (GoChild)


I have a question about this go problem:

Dong-Dong grouping > (1) ~10k_6350 > (3) 30k~25k > (5) > 2945

The solution given is to move at B9 as black, but I'm having trouble

understanding

why that would be better than say a move at B8 for black.

Can someone explain why black is supposed to play at B9 and not at B8?
