Hello everyone!

   I shall be at the Fall/Winter Nationals in Seattle.  For the second 

year running I am bringing my regular partner, Liz Commins, accompanied 

by her husband, a non-bridge player.  At the last Nationals we played 

every day, winning a top bracket compact knockout and reaching the third 

day of the North American Swiss.  I hope we do better this year.

   I am also looking forward to sitting on appeals, and to our journey 

home - we are taking a train to Chicago - 45 hours on the train!  I do 

not think Liz has worked out how she can make herself up on the train!

years, and to make new friends.
