Text to speech


Hello,

I am looking for a Text to speech software to convert some texts to mp3 

or wav. Is there any good sounding TTS-Software availible for ubuntu?

Since I come from Germany, German is the main language I would use it for.

I have tried espeak with mbrola, which was recommended, but that one 

really sounds too computer-like for me :D

Any good alternatives?
