Thunderbird has always just worked for me. Mail is fine, but the 

newsgroups bit is a shambles. It starts off by asking me for user name 

and password, which is all in the setup sequence. Then when I've given 

it them, it asks me again for the same info. Eventually it just says it 

can't d/l any NGs or messages from them. I have to quit and reload to go 

through the same rigmarole. Sometimes it takes several times until it at 

last does what it always used to do first time without any problems and 

d/ls everything.

I haven't done anything wrong as far as I can see. Anyone else in the 

same boat? Or any suggestions?
