What are news groups?

News groups are boards where anyone can post a question or an opinion, and share it with every other user.
To post messages you have to use a news software, such as Outlook Express, or a web site that provides you a web interface to the world of newsgroup.
This site just allows you to read news groups, not to post, because posting require a strict control to prevent abuse, and it's far more demanding to manage.
